What makes me cautious?

I am excited by this kind of workflow, but I am also cautious.

WordPress sites can be messy. Plugins interact in strange ways. Page builders create markup that can be hard to clean up. Permissions matter. Cache layers matter. Hosting setups matter. A small mistake on a live site can create a surprisingly annoying problem.

So I would not treat AI-connected WordPress tools like toys.

I would want a staging environment when possible. I would want backups. I would want clear approval steps. I would want changes to start as drafts. I would want to know which user role the AI is operating under. I would want to inspect generated pages before publishing.

That may sound boring, but it is the difference between a useful workflow and a risky one.

How this connects to the future of website work

For a long time, website work has been split across too many places.

Strategy happens in docs. Copy happens in docs. SEO recommendations happen in spreadsheets. Design happens in Figma. Development happens in code editors. Publishing happens in the CMS. Analytics happens somewhere else. Then everyone wonders why simple changes take so long.
